Master Hypnotist, motivational coach, and an all-around funny guy.

Asad Mecci is a Master Hypnotist and a performer.  His jaw dropping comedy hypnosis performances have captivated audiences worldwide.  Over his 20+ year career on stage, he has performed in front of millions of people live and his talents have been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, the Toronto Star and on Entertainment Tonight, MTV, HGTV, and BBC.

Asad is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and has studied under the legendary hypnotist Mike Mandel.

In 2015, Asad co-created HYPROV (Improv Under Hypnosis) with International Comedy Icon Colin Mochrie from “Whose Line is it Anyway”?  This first of a kind show brings together two masters in Asad and Colin, along with audience volunteers and they form an instant improv troop performing for the audience.  The result?  Absolute hilarity!! HYPROV continues to sell out shows across North America and Europe.  HYPROV recently completed it’s Off-Broadway run in New York City at the Daryl Roth Theatre and a Las Vegas Residency in Harrah’s Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas. 

As a mental strength coach, Asad teaches athletes to use visualization and mental imagery to enhance their abilities. Asad has also worked with professional Tennis Players and elite basketball players reach their peak level of performance.

Mecci collaborated with legendary figure skating coach Brian Orser to produce a visualization figure skating app, which would eventually help Yuzuru Hanyu win the gold medal in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.  The app has been re-released as an audio program and can be purchased on www.asadmecci.com.

Beyond athletics, Asad has been hired by major corporations to serve as an expert consultant in the areas of motivation, advanced communication and stress management. He helped Roberto Verri, the host of Talk Television, lose 40 pounds in two months and Leanne Delap achieve her health goals as documented in The Toronto Star and The Kit.
